I'm quite impressed at this device's LOOK and its technical specs as to how much power it can seamlessly push out to a USB-C device.But its practicality with all the necessary fiddling about to get it working... that's not so impressive at all.Sure, if I wanted to leave a magnetic connector button attched to the bottom of my phone all the time, then maybe I could be more satisfied with this. But I can't help but wonder what happens if something shorts the connection edges on the button connector? Then what? Does my battery short out and burn up in my pocket?And even if it doesn't short out... if I arrive at another location where I need to charge my phone, but which doesn't have that magnetic connection, then what? I have to remove the magnetic button and risk dropping it and/or losing it while I charge my phone on the cable, and then go hunt down where did that little button get stuck in the meantime (it's magnetic, after all, and it does tend to stick to things accidentally, and maybe not where I intended!)SO... this is an interesting and nice gadgety thing for someone who loves gadgets and wants to mess aound. But as for its practical use? I'm just not sure it's worth it.I'm not against being convinced tho, so I'll keep giving it the old college try and see if I like it any better after a couple weeks or more... Stand by.Meanwhile, for my initial impression after a day... I have to say:Nice idea, but no thanks. it rather missed the mark as a useful and user-friendly product.Just too hard to use.
