Not sure about the charging speed, I just haven’t timed it but seems to be fairly quick from when I see it orange (charging) to green (charged). The design works, however, if you have a different headset (I bought one that has a fan additional battery pack) then the headset weighs too much in the back and won’t connect it properly to charge unless you put something under the back to prop it up (not a big deal though, easy enough to do). Seems to be decent quality, haven’t had any issues where it led me to think otherwise. Easy connection, I don’t feel like I’m having to move it around a lot to get the connection. Be aware if you use any other cord than that that comes with either this unit or the quest itself then the unit will not work properly (even if it’s the same type of cord).
